We are actively seeking a full-time Hospice Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to work 7pm-7am at our Inpatient Hospice Center.

The Hospice Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide Hospice services to patients and families. Utilizes the nursing process to provide quality nursing care to Inpatient Center Hospice patients in accordance with company policy. Must be able to lift and turn patients as needed in the normal course of patient care, following industry standards and guidelines for safety and correct ergonomic practices. Employees involved in patient care may be exposed to blood, body tissue and fluids regularly and are expected to follow all health care industry safety guidelines indicated in our procedures manual.  

Qualifications: 

  • 2 years of critical care, oncology, medical-surgical or home care nursing experience (required)
  • Hospice experience (preferred)
  • Current Registered Nurse license to practice professional nursing in the State of Delaware
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing (BSN preferred but not required)
  • CPR certification required

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday, 3 – 12-hour shifts per week (7pm-7am)
    • Will work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday; 7pm-7am)

Work Location:

  • Inpatient Care Center (16 bed facility)

Compensation:

  • $75,000 – $83,000 base compensation per/year + shift differentials
