Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, balance, gait training, and functional independence
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety precautions, and home programs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with all regulatory and agency requirements
Qualifications:
- Maryland Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- 1–2 years of clinical experience (preferred)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Passion for home health care
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm with occasional weekend rotation
Compensation:
- $81,432 per year
- Mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate
Work Location:
- Out in the field providing patient visits (home)
Coverage Area:
- Lower Prince George’s County – grouped by zip codes, primarily covering Clinton, Fort Washington, Oxon Hill, Temple Hills area
