Accredited by the Joint Commission, this organization continues to be the largest and only licensed, non-profit, community-based hospice serving Delaware. Now also providing care in Pennsylvania; southern Chester and Delaware counties. 

They are actively seeking a full-time Associate Director of Hospice (RN) to work out of the Dover office.  The schedule of this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with ON CALL rotation (every 6 weeks; Friday-Friday).

The Associate Director of Hospice (RN) is responsible for oversight and management of all clinical team services within the Milford office.   Supervises IDT staff.  This is an exempt position.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing strongly preferred. Master’s in nursing of management/administration preferred. (Must be clinically licensed in PA and DE). Certification in hospice nursing preferred.  Proven ability to motivate staff to achieve goals; ability to problem solve. Minimum of five years of nursing practice; or other healthcare clinical role with demonstrated clinical skills and at least one year in hospice or home care.  At least two years nursing management experience preferred.  

Key Details:

  • Current patient census: 108 and growing
  • Will lead a team of 43 staff members (mix of RN, CNA, SW, and Chaplain)

Compensation:

  • $90,000 – $105,000 + bonus structure

Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday 8:00am-4:30pm 
  • ON CALL rotation (every 6 weeks; Friday-Friday)
